 - more text and smaller font - elderly who have particular knowledge and viewpoints - unbiased towards matters - allows audience to form own decisions
- focus on current affairs about politics 
- aimed towards middle class

Daily Express - tabloid 

- less text & main headline story is short and straight to the point
- gossip type stories between celebs - clear difference w/ broadsheet
- biased - tell audience what to believe
- aimed towards working class
